Welcome to my blog!
My name is Ifeoluwa Oloruntoba. I am a Nigerian living in France. I have been in France for some years and I am presently a doctoral student at the Université d’Orléans. In addition to my thesis work, I also teach at the university.
The difficulties Nigerians face when they first arrive in France prompted me to create this blog with the aim of informing Nigerians who plan to visit France or are presently in France about the necessary things they need to know about the country. This blog will also give French people a taste of Nigerian culture; that part of Nigeria the press will hardly tell.
I love teaching! Meeting about 100 students every semester and contributing to their success give me immeasurable joy. I also love to read and disover new things about countries, people and their cultures.
When I want to relax and stay away from anything academic, I play the piano. I am an intermediate learner of this musical intrument and still like the sound that emanates even when I play wrong notes.
Have a good read!
